QotD: Everybody Change!

Interesting concept. If everyone was sharing what they had/earned, how would you get people to keep working in their jobs? How would you deal with the people who feel they've worked hard for what they have, and feel like you'd be stealing from them if you took it and shared with someone less deserving?
[this is good]
Good question....I feel that if we changed to this concept our way of thinking would change also. I've seen it happen in the workplace. For instance, we had a bonus system but everyone had to pitch in to make it work. This meant that if we made production then everyone received the bonus, so everyone wanted to pitch in to reach the bonus. I can think of one person who did not pull his weight, but after some months of feeling humiliated he began to pitch in and our bonus increased.

We would need a leader with superb coaching skills who believed in this idea. Now, the answer to your question, it would be hard to deal with those people who feel taken advantage and the lazy people taking advantage. We would have to restructure our entire society in order to deal with these individuals. One idea is for the hard workers to take lead, become humble instead of angry, be grateful for what they have and continue to share. Let go of the anger and keep rolling. Hopefully, people will want to pitch in to increase the bonus. A psychological transition would have to take place.
